About the portal
The Portal was created to strengthen the organizational capacity of the Caritas Ukraine network in the field of safeguarding, as well as to inform and raise awareness among network employees and volunteers, partners, external experts, contractors, people in need, and all other interested parties. The Portal features user-friendly navigation, a clear thematic structure, and search by main tags, which helps in quickly finding the necessary information.
The safeguarding portal provides:
- convenient access to current policies and procedures of the Safeguarding system;
- more comfortable onboarding for network employees;
- dissemination of tools for training and preparation of network personnel;
- prompt notification of changes and updates to policies and procedures;
- familiarizing partners and contractors with the requirements applicable within the Caritas network;
- highlighting the network’s rules and principles of operation for people in need (beneficiaries);
- raising awareness about various safeguarding directions and topics for all interested parties;
- dissemination of information about feedback channels through which any suspicions or violations of the Safeguarding system’s policies and procedures can be reported.
